Azimov is born in 1990 in Kyrgyzstan where he grew up in Jalal-Abad. In 2011, he moved to Moscow, obtained Russian citizenship three years later, became a father.

Then he became interested in radical Islam. A couple of years later, he underwent the rite of passage into terrorists in Turkey, and in 2017, he became a connection man between one of the organizers of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg metro Bobirjon Makhbubov called “Akhmat” and an alleged perpetrator Akbarjon Jalilov.

Kyrgyzstani national Abror Azimov is accused of organizing a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg metro in April 2017. Security services said that Abror Azimov had trained Jalilov before the attack in St. Petersburg.

Azimov was given a life sentence and fined by the military court in Russia.
