Amira Abase is a British schoolgirl who travelled to Syria to join Islamic State with two teenage friends is feared to have been killed in an air strike. She flew via Turkish Airlines from Gatwick Airport in West Sussex, England, to Istanbul, Turkey before crossing the border into Syria.
