Clashes between terrorist groups in areas of the Yarmouk camp in Damascus

Members of the Islamic State, Daesh in Arabic, and the Organization for the Liberation of the Levant, led by former Al-Nusra Front, are having confrontations in areas of Yarmouk camp in the southern suburbs of the Syrian capital, according to military sources.
Reports indicate that Daesh does not accept negotiations between the Organization and the Syrian authorities to evacuate the area of Yarmuk, less than five kilometers from the center of Damascus and home to a former Palestinian refugee camp.

According to the sources, the information was provided by activists in the area who asked to remain anonymous in the face of the ongoing fighting, which resulted in casualties from both sides, without specifying details.

Daesh controls the southern area of Yarmuk, of about four square kilometers, and its supporters are dividing. In this area of several Palestinian groups and of the aforementioned Organization, part of the forces already evacuated the place after the negotiations.
