Corey Johnson converted to Islam and followed the Islamic State terrorist group on social media, including videos of beheadings by the terrorists.

He confessed to killing a 13-year-old boy at a sleepover and attacking the host family in the name of Islam.

Johnson was on the FBI’s radar screen for over a year as an Islamic State sympathizer but the FBI did nothing because he was a juvenile.

Johnson stabbed the host family’s 13-year-old son 32 times as he defended his mother while she was being stabbed.

He told the police that he killed because of his Muslim faith, and had followed the Islamic State on social media, including watching videos of beheadings by Islamic State terrorist group.

Johnson is charged of first-degree murder and attempted murder after investigators say he killed 13-year-old Jovanni Sierra and stabbed Elaine Simon, 43, and her son 13-year-old, Dane Bancroft, during a sleepover at a home in BallenIsles County Club.
