Danish police say they have mobilized across the country amid concern that there is a heightened risk of a terrorist attack.

Police said they were acting on “suspicion that a terrorist attack with a militant, Islamist motive” was being planned, according to a statement on Wednesday.

According to state broadcaster DR, police have already made several arrests and conducted a number of raids. It’s still unclear what the target of any attack might have been.
