ISIS executes three civilians in Iraq’s Hawija
A source told the Iraqi media that the executions took place in an ISIS military base near the northern Iraqi town of Hawija.
The bodies of the victims were later delivered to their families, the source added.
Hawija has been under the control of the extremist group since early 2014. The town is located in west of Kirkuk.
Officials in Kirkuk have been constantly calling on the Iraqi army to operation to liberate Hawija as tens of thousands of civilians are trapped by ISIS atrocities, and the terrorists will be able to pose a threat to Kirkuk as long as they rule Hawija.
