Florian Flegel is a German man who came to the United Kingdom in search of work was found sharing Islamic State propaganda videos of horrific beheadings.
He was travelling back to Germany when he was stopped at Stansted Airport and arrested for terrorism offences.
Flegel had allegedly been sharing violent Islamic State propaganda videos including footage of beheadings.
He faces five counts of suspicion of encouraging terrorism and dissemination of videos containing ‘horrific violence’.
His phone was looked at and it seems he had been sending Islamic State propaganda videos to another person who was clearly known to him.
The videos were said to demonstrate ‘particularly violent’ acts ‘encouraging beheadings’ and other terrorism acts.
Flegel is accused of five counts of transmitting a terrorist publication, namely videos, electronically. He will remand in custody and will stand trial at the Old Bailey on November 6.
