Georgian members of Islamic State threaten to take revenge

Terrorists say that they will take revenge for the deaths of members of their organisation who were killed by Georgian law enforcers during last year’s anti-terrorist raid in Tbilisi.

A Georgian unit of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist organisation has threatened the Georgian government, saying they will take revenge for their “murdered brothers,” Georgian media Palitranews released the video today.

The video which was allegedly recorded two weeks ago, mentions large-scale anti-terrorist operation on the outskirts of Tbilisi in November 2017, when the IS terrorist Akhmed Chatayev blew himself up and two other of his associates were killed.

The video did not say concrete names, but states that “you will be killed in your homes.”

The Georgian State Security Service stated that they knew about the video and the investigation is underway.

Earlier today the State Security Service released a statement regarding the detention of an individual named Malkhaz T. for the illegal purchase and possession of arms.

The State Security Service reported that they also seized “the Islamic State flag and other symbols of the terrorist organisation.”
