Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have busted a terrorist hideout in Gourab area of Samba district, recovering grenades and bullets from the place. However, no terrorist was found there.

Addressing a press conference, Samba SSP Shakti Pathak said, “We recovered a cache of ammunition and explosives in Gouran area late on Saturday.” The SSP said that the recovery included 54 live rounds of AK-47 rifles and three primed live Chinese-made hand grenades.

Similarly, security forces on April 27 launched a CASO along the Jammu-Pathankot highway in Kathua district after a tip-off about some suspicious movement along the road in Dayalachak and Hiranagar areas of Jammu.
