Iraqi security forces launch an operation to pursue Islamic State terrorists in Kirkuk

Kirkuk Joint Operations Command’s forces launched a three-axis security operation to pursue ISIS terrorists.

The Iraqi Security Media Cell said in a statement today that the forces are teaming up to inspect al-Shay and Zghitoun valleys, as well as areas extending between al-Sada and al-Asriyah villages.

The statement added that the operation is covered from air by the Iraqi army.
