Islamic State brides celebrate Turkey invasion they hope will break them free

This is the worrying moment ISIS brides are seen celebrating Turkey’s invasion of Syria amid fears they will break free to help resurrect the terror group.

The veiled captives were pictured at one of the Syrian Democratic Forces-run prison camps which are scattered along the battlefront border.

SDF leaders have warned sleeper cells are now plotting to free thousands of militants currently detained by the Kurds and plan to take advantage of the turmoil to aid their plans.

Of the 15,000 ISIS fanatics in custody, it’s estimated around 2,500 of them are foreign fighters from European countries who have refused to take them back.

Tens of thousands of women and children are also housed in separate secure camps – many of them fanatics – guarded by troops from the SDF.

They are said to be desperate to break free and take up arms again sparking bloodshed across the Middle East and Europe.

Just two weeks ago, dozens of rioting women sparked a shootout with their captors inside al-Hawl camp, where Brit Shamima Begum was once based.

Separate unconfirmed reports from the region claims some of the “brides” were even caught trying to manufacture makeshift bombs inside the camps.

A top US general has already warned warlords will resurrect their bloodthirsty caliphate in the Middle East in the wake of Turkey’s invasion of Syria

Joesph Votel, who led the war on terror in the region, fears thousands of jihadi prisoners could break out of SDF jails to take up arms again.

‘The SDF has already stated that it will have to fortify defence mechanisms along the Syrian-Turkish border, leaving ISIS detention facilities and encampments with little to no security,” he said.

His warning came as the Institute for the Study of War said ISIS wants to “free its loyal fighters.”

ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has himself urged fanatics to free thousands of jihadis in a huge uprising.

In an audio recording, he said the camps were run by “Crusaders” and their “Shia allies” and called on his followers to free jihadis and their brides.

“The prisons, the prisons, soldiers of the caliphate!” he said in the audio released by the ISIS media unit, known as al-Furqan.

“Do your utmost to rescue your brothers and sisters and break down the walls that imprison them.”

The SDF has already made it clear it fears the fact they have been “abandoned” by the US will leave the door open for ISIS’s resurgence.

One unnamed Kurdish official told NBC: “The Americans are traitors. They have abandoned us to a Turkish massacre.
