Islamic State terrorists attacked Syrian military points in Hama

Terrorists from the Islamic State organization (Daesh, in Arabic) carried out a surprise attack against military points in eastern Hama province, some 200 kilometers north of Damascus.

Positions of the Syrian Arab Army and the National Defense Forces were attacked with heavy machine guns in Al-Saan town, some 25 kilometers east of Salamieh municipality, local media reported.

The military units operating in that desert area are carrying out fierce clashes with the attacking terrorists, and no casualties have been so far confirmed on both sides, media said.

Daesh’s elements have increased in the last few months their night attacks in desert areas against distant towns where they massacre civilians and loot their property and livestock.
