Islamic State terrorists kidnaped three Iraqi policemen in Kirkuk

Islamic State (IS) militants kidnapped three Iraqi policemen near Dibis district, northwest of Kirkuk province.

A source from Dibis Mayor’s office told BasNews that the IS jihadists ambushed a small convoy of Iraqi federal police outside Dibis and kidnapped one officer and two policemen.

Hours later, the security forces found the dead body of the officer near the ambushed area, another source told BasNews. The fate of the other two remains unknown while a search operation is underway.
