ISIS car bomb kills 12 FSA fighters in Syria’s city Al-Bab

At least 12 members of the opposition Free Syrian Army (FSA) were killed and 30 others injured on Sunday in a car bomb attack by Daesh terrorists in Syria’s Al-Bab region, sources said.
The Daesh attack conducted with a bomb-laden vehicle targeted an area where FSA fighters use as a gathering field in Jub al-Barazi village, east of Al-Bab.

Fifteen out of 30 injured were sent to Kilis State Hospital in southern Turkey.

No Turkish army troops taking part in the Operation Euphrates Shield were reportedly present in the area at the time of the attack.

The Turkish army is supporting Free Syrian Army fighters in liberating Al-Bab, a strategic city for Daesh, from the terrorist group. Sunday marks the 145th day since the city was surrounded in order to liberate it.

The operation is part of the Turkish-led Operation Euphrates Shield, which began in late August to improve security, support coalition forces, and eliminate the terror threat along Turkey’s border using FSA fighters backed by Turkish artillery and jets.
