On Monday, militants of the Islamic State (IS/ISIS) carried out a car bomb attack in the city of Kobane in northern Syria, Kurdish military sources reported. The suicide attack hit a checkpoint of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) on the highway to Aleppo near the so-called Martyrs Cemetery.
