The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a new surprise attack by ISIS members targeting regime forces’ positions near Al-Taym oil field, about 13 km south of Deir ez-Zor, where fierce clashes took place between the two sides during the last hours, accompanied by exchange of fire, amid confirmed reports of casualties on both sides.
Yesterday, SOHR sources said that fierce clashes continued on several frontlines within the Aleppo-Hama-Raqqah triangle in the Syrian desert, between the Islamic State members on the one hand, and regime forces and loyal militias on the other, in a new surprise attack by ISIS on the positions of the regime forces, east of Hama, amid exchange of fire between the two sides.
