At least three Iraqi policemen killed by ISIS found dead in Mosul

At least three Iraqi policemen were found dead on Tuesday in Mosul, the Islamic State’s(IS) previous stronghold, a security official said.

Captain Ali Hassan confirmed to BasNews that the bodies of the three were discovered near an under-construction building in the village of al-Ezba in Ninevah, noting that the three had apparently been tortured before they were killed.

Hassan said that the three bodies were taken to the forensic department for investigations.

Although no groups have so far claimed responsibility for the attack, the Islamic State (IS), as a main threat to the country, has been the main suspect in such cases.
