ISIS ‘boy soldiers’ filmed hunting prisoners in warehouse

A group of “brainwashed” boys have been filmed carrying handguns and opening fire at a prisoner while on an ISIS practice mission in a disused warehouse.

The disturbing footage of the boys, some who appear to be under the age of 12, was produced by the Islamic State, Sky News reports.

The boys, all of who are armed and wearing black beanies and combat fatigues, stalk the halls of the warehouse unloading bullets into the walls of rooms after stepping through door frames.

The footage, which is part of the extreme terrorist group’s propaganda, also shows the boy soldiers rush through a section of the warehouse after spotting what appears to be a person huddled on the floor.

One of the boys is seen raising his weapon before the vision fades to black as two shots ring out.

Yet as Sky News learned, despite these boys being brainwashed and deadly, not all these boys remain within the ISIS faction. Many of them now languish in a detention centre in Erbil in the Kurdistan Region.

One boy who agreed to speak up about his experience was 12-year-old former ISIS member Mahmoud.

“They were showing us everything on TV; how a suicide bomber explodes himself, how booby traps were detonated, how weapons were dismantled,” he said.

He claims he was “taken” and brainwashed into joining Islamic State. He said his grooming took six to seven months.

He said he was terrified by his experience and wanted to quit. Instead, he claims he was punished.

“They put me in prison with no food or water, and that was the most dreadful punishment,” he said.

“From sunrise to sunset, you get one loaf and one bottle of water. Then another small bottle of water until the next day, and sometimes they don’t bring you anything.”

There are 236 inmates in the detention centre with 215 suspected of terrorism, Sky News reports.
