Terror hideout busted and four Jaish terrorists arrested in Pulwama

The Awantipora Police in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on Monday busted a terror module and arrested four terrorist associates linked to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

Investigations reveal that the associates, who have been arrested, were providing support to the active JeM terrorists operating in the area. The JeM associates were involved in providing logistics and shelter to the JeM terrorists.

The JeM associates have been identified as Khrew area residents Mohd Amin, Mohd Rafiq, Fayaz Lone and Maqbool Dar from Awantipora.

A case FIR number 03/2020 and 08/2020 under relevant sections of the law stands already registered at Khrew and Awantipora police stations, respectively, after the arrest of the four Jaish terrorists.

Four more suspects from Awantipora and Tral areas have been called for questioning for their role in providing logistics to the Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists.
