ISIS terrorists killed two civilians near Hawija

Islamic State (IS) militants attacked a village near Hawija (some 55 kilometres southwest of Kirkuk) overnight on Monday, killing at least two civilians.

Mohammed Fayeq, former spokesperson for Tuz Khurmatu mayoral office, identified the victims as Sabhan Barhoum and Ahmed Ga’li.

The attack was carried our in Hawayij village, Fayeq confirmed.

Earlier this week, IS insurgents attacked another Kurdish village in Diyala province, and abducted four Kurdish men.

Their beheaded bodies were later found outside the village. Three of the victims were members of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces.
