Turkey is sending Islamic State terrorists into Libya from the Syrian desert

The head of the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR) Rami Abdulrahman said that the Turkish government is not concerned with the international efforts to fight the COVID19 crisis, and continues to send mercenaries into Libya.

In a private statement to AlArabiya TV said, “Turkey continues to send mercenaries into Libya, not only those loyal to Turkey that are involved with the national army, but also ISIS fighters who are being sent through the Syrian desert, as well as fighters from Deir Ez-Zor.

“We have no less than 28 names of ISIS fighters who have left ISIS and joined the national army and are now fighting in Tripoli. There are around 7,400 fighters who were intended to fight only in Tripoli but are now deployed on all fronts against the Libyan National Army”, he added.

SOHR chief asserted that there are disputes between commanders and the mercenaries who were thrown in Libya at the promise of 2,000 USD per month and have only been paid fractions of it so far.
