Karnataka Home Minister, Basavaraja Bommai, on Tuesday, said that the Police has arrested two suspected terrorist from the Udupi railway station in the state. He further added that both the suspects have been arrested in connection with the Wilson murder case in Kanyakumari district. Police have identified both suspects as Tawfiq and Shamim. Reports also suggest that along with them, another suspected ISIS terrorist, Mehboob has also been arrested.

Last week, Wilson, along with other colleagues of his police station, was inspecting the car to and from the check post in Kanyakumari district when he was attacked by two suspects who had killed Wilson and had fled the spot. Since then, the police were on a lookout for the suspects. The police had also released photographs of the attackers and announced a reward for whoever is able to give them information.
