Unidentified gunmen assassinate policeman in Kabul

A policeman was martyred by shooting of unidentified gunmen in 2th security district of Kabul today.

Confirming the incident, Kabul police spokesman Ferdows Faramz told BNA, this morning, at 6:30 AM, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a policemen in Bat-e-Khak area of 12th security district, as a result of which one policeman was martyred and another was injured.

Targeted assassinations and bomb blasts in Kabul have risen sharply.
