Unknown gunmen in Nigeria attacked and killed at least 50 Catholic worshippers

Assailants have attacked a Catholic church in Nigeria during Mass. They came with guns and explosives, killing at least 50 people and kidnapping the priest.

The attack took place in the town of Owo in Nigeria’s southwestern state of Ondo, where such violence is rare.
