Iran and Qatar push aside the Sunni leadership of Saudi-Arabia and Egypt

Preceding the October 7th terror attack of Hamas, the Qatari envoy, Abou Fahad Jassem Al-Thani, visited Lebanon several times, meeting with high level representatives of Hezbollah, Hamas and other Sunni representatives. These meetings were supposed to provide a solution for the deadlock in the upcoming elections. It would seem that “the quintet”, that included the US, Qatar, France, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, has united to convince Amal and Hezbollah to drop Sleiman Franjieh. In fact, Hezbollah was having trouble to convince the Sunni population in the North and bribes didn’t do the trick, so now they needed external Sunni support. While France was going along with Saudi-Arabia, Qatar pushed its own agenda and was willing to pay the price. This is yet another example of a joined agenda of the Iranian proxy Hezbollah and the Qatari leadership, to push aside the traditional Sunni leadership of Saudi-Arabia and Egypt.

The result is evident. Qatar made it a point, that it will put money wherever Saudi-Arabia could be disgraced and put in ill repute. By this Qatar would make sure that Hezbollah will get the backing of the Sunni in the north, while Saudi-Arabia will lose face in the Muslim world, for having moved for normalization with Israel and the West. All it took was an extensive Hamas attack on the Zionist entity and a substantial support by Hezbollah from the North. Shortly after these arrangements, the date was set and agreed upon with Iran. The war is on!
