Nigerian authorities evacuated 22 childern of Islamic State terrorists killed in Libya

The Nigerian government said hat it had returned 22 children of the families of the terrorist “ISIS” fighters, who were killed in Libya.

The Nigerian newspaper, The Guardian, quoted the Nigerian director of media and public relations, Abdul Rahman Balogun, as saying that the deportees were among 101 Nigerian migrants stranded in Libya, and were received by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Immigration Department and government agencies.

He added that a plane belonging to the Air Force in his country, evacuated his citizens from Libya, and landed at “Namdi Azikiwe” airport in Abuja, noting that all of the evacuees underwent a medical examination in Tripoli, and they are not infected with the Coronavirus.

The local authorities in Nigeria had announced the return of one hundred of its citizens, who had been deported from Libya, during the recent period, seeking to evacuate the same number during the next ten days.

In turn, the Chargé d’Affairs at the Nigerian Embassy in Tripoli, Kabiru Musa, reported the return of men, women and children, some of whom were captured by the terrorist organization “ISIS” for several years, pointing to the cooperation that he has seen from the Libyan side with the aim of achieving the return of his citizens to their homes.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Justice of the Government of National Unity announced, earlier, the deportation of 84 Nigerian inmates, along with their children, from the released convicts.
