Nearly fifty Islamic State unexploded bombs seized by the Iraqi forces

The Iraqi federal police forces managed to seize nearly 50 unexploded bombs belonging to the jihadist group of Islamic State (IS) in the disputed Kurdish province Kirkuk.

According to the information BasNews has learned, the federal police forces seized a total of 47 bombs during an operation in the village of al-Mansuriyah, Kirkuk province.

The explosive devices were later defused by experts.

BasNews has also learned from sources that the movements of the Islamic State have lately increased in the disputed territories, especially in areas surrounding Kirkuk.
