Swedish intelligence service dealing with several terror threats every day

– Over the past month Sweden has become a target of increased priority for international terrorist groups such as the IS and Al-Qaeda, according to the Swedish Intelligence Service, SÄPO.

– An event which is believed to have had the greatest importance for the growing threat level is the burning of a Quran outside the Turkish embassy in January.

– “Threats of attacks agains Sweden and Swedish interests abroad have increased significantly”, says Susanna Trehörning, deputy chief of counter terrorism at SÄPO.
