Syrian Democratic Forces launched a security operation against Islamic State terrorist group in Deir Ez-Zor

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeastern Syria launched on Thursday a Global Coalition-backed security operation in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ez-Zor to pursue ISIS remnants.

SDF operation in Wadi Al-Ajij, northeastern countryside of Deir Ez-Zor comes as part of the joint efforts of SDF and the US-led Coalition in combating terrorism.
