At least 15 women and children killed and wounded in violent clashes in the Al-Hawl camp

Reliable sources have reported that Al-Hawl camp in the far south-east countryside of Al-Hasakah province, has been witnessing ongoing tension since yesterday as violent clashes with RPG and confrontations between the military forces in charge of the camp and ISIS cells erupted on Monday evening in the fourth and fifth sections of the camp, killing a woman and a child and injuring four women and six children, as well as the killing of ISIS member.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, International Coalition forces and “HAT” forces specialised in “combating terrorism” have arrived in Al-Hawl town and the camp in light of prevailing tension and imposed a complete curfew in the town and camp of Al-Hawl.

These developments coincide with the flight by International Coalition helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft over the area.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that security forces sieged the 5th section of Al-Hawl camp in Al-Hasakah countryside, and arrested a terrorist trying to blow himself up, meanwhile, clashes between armed men in the 5th and 4th sections of Al-Hawl camp took place.
